This week we were learning about the letter "Dd". Please ask your child what sound Dd makes and have them tell you some words that begin with Dd.

On Tuesday we did some finger painting and made our very own apple trees. We also learned a poem to go with all of our apple activities. Have your child sing it and show you the actions.

Way up high in the apple tree,
A tiny brown worm smiled at me.
I winked my eye,
And what do you suppose?
A tiny red apple fell on my nose!

Today we did apple tasting and we each chose our favorite apple. We then graphed our choices to see if red, green or yellow apples were most popular in our class.

We have also been working with patterns during our table olympics center time. Today your child made a crown with square paper jewels. Ask your child what pattern they chose to do.
