LETTERS

We have finished learning the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they produce. Please continue to review these at home. We are now working on blends. The students brainstormed "sh" words and here is their list: shake, sheep, short, shed, shopping, shiver, shorts, shower, shampoo, shock, shadow, shoe, shirt, shark, shame, shade, Shane, share, shave, show, shy, she, shell and shovel WOW!!!! Please ask your child to tell you some words that begin with "sh".

Numbers

Here are our number rhymes:
0 - Around we go!
1 - One is fun!
2 - Around and back on a railroad track!
3 - Around a tree, around a tree, that's the way to make a three.
4 - Down and over and down some more, that's the way to make a four.
5 - Down, around and then you stop. Next give five a hat on top.
6 - Roll a hoop and make a loop.
7 - Across the sky and down from heaven, that's the way to make a seven.
8 - We make a "S" but do not wait, go back up and close the gate.
9 - A hoop and a line, that's the way to make a nine.
